9月23日「1828王老吉涼水鋪-上海租界店」正式在台北信義「新光三越A11」開幕，果然吸引大批「吉粉」嘗鮮，現場排隊人潮塞爆了信義商圈；「1828王老吉涼水鋪」的空間設計跳脫以往手搖店的框架，將老上海租界的風格結合復古元素。現在吸引大批網美、網帥拍照直播，儼然成為打卡新熱點。

台灣小吃相當多元化，不少外國人來到台灣都會指名要到夜市朝聖一番，不過在眾多小吃當中，也有許多外國人聞之色變的美食，如臭豆腐、豬血糕、雞佛等。一名網友在臉書社團「爆廢公社」中分享了一項台灣特色小吃，聲稱臭豆腐已不夠看，要吃「這個」才厲害。
照片中可見一碗「藥燉土虱頭」，一隻鯰魚頭直接倒躺在碗中，模樣相當嚇人，該名網友說道：「我覺得帶外國人吃什麼臭豆腐、皮蛋、雞腳、雞屁股都不夠看！怎麼可以錯過這顆頭」，也好奇詢問網友們是否都敢吃這顆魚頭。
文章引起網友們熱烈回響，身為台灣特色小吃的藥燉土虱頭，也有許多台灣民眾表示模樣太驚人，不太敢吃，網友們紛紛留言回應，「不會吃頭，只吃中間跟尾巴」、「我的老天鵝啊」、「好可怕不敢吃頭」；不過也有不少網友表示，「餓了餓了，這滿滿膠質啊」、「超愛，這超好吃」。
